This is what you will do :
This role will primarily focus on analyzing data to support and develop data products and the data catalog, andpromote data governance. This role will have the opportunity to work with various cross-functional teams across the organization and expand their knowledge by participating first-hand on capturing business requirements on data initiatives.
You will be responsible for :
Understanding data product operating model and data governance policies
Learning variousdata assets across the Alexion and AstraZeneca environment being used by Alexion for making key business decisions
Proactively assisting on creating a solution to improve and preserve data quality for data product,to build upon the data catalog, and to support data governance initiatives
Partnering with various Business & IT stakeholders to understand and document requirements on key data initiatives
Participate in regular meetings with IT and Business teams
Presentatingproject status updates to business and IT stakeholders.
You will need to have :
Keen desire to understand more about Pharmaceutical processes, life sciences industry
Curious problem solver who enjoys learning new things, working with others, and continuously growing their interpersonal and technical skills
Committed to furthering Alexion’s mission of serving the patient
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to quickly adapt to new projects and work on a diverse team
Academic proficiency or prior experience with SQL, R or Python
Academic proficiency or prior experience working on data visualization tools
Academic experience with project management practices
Strong analytical skillsalong with sharp business acumen
Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
Education : Undergrad / Grad with a major in computer science, data science, business / data analytics, business administration, mathematics, information systems / technology, or a related field
