Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting the Production Manager in overseeing supply chain operations, ensuring quality assurance, and assisting with various production tasks to guarantee the on-time delivery of multi-category products across all sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Correspond with overseas and local vendors to manage deliveries, address shortages, resolve rejections, and ensure production schedules are on track.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams on delays and production issues.
- Maintain accurate Ex-factory and In-house dates within the RLM system, ensuring they reflect vendor confirmations and are updated accordingly.
- Review TOP (Top of Production) samples to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards before proceeding with bulk production.
- Oversee the logistics of production sample shipments from the office to the warehouse in New Jersey, and overseas factories, ensuring smooth handling and timely delivery.
- Coordinate and approve label information for both domestic and international vendors, ensuring compliance with regulatory and branding requirements.
- Review vendor invoices for unit costs and HTS codes, resolving any discrepancies and ensuring proper reconciliation before submission to the Production Manager.
- Assist in the cleaning and preparation of antiques sourced from third-party suppliers, ensuring each item meets company standards.
- Visit the 3PL warehouse in New Jersey as needed to assist with the receipt and processing of purchase orders.
- Serve as a liaison between the Customer Service (CS) team and local factory to manage repair requests, ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
