Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Electrician to join our team. As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in various type of fire apparatus. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our customers' vehicles are running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems in vehicles, including wiring, lighting, ignition, charging, and starting systems.
- Install electrical components and accessories such as lighting, pumping electrical systems, radios and other various electrical components.
- Perform electrical system troubleshooting and repairs using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to identify faults and repair issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts, and labor.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding electrical issues in their vehicles.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and electrical system advancements.
