The systems analyst serves as the chief of television studio operations. This extends to television
production requirements which occur at off-site locations or at other DOE headquarters facilities.
The systems analyst provides set design, equipment staging and serves as editor in chief for all
television post production products. The systems analyst operates a wide array of television
production and post-production equipment and is proficient in the use of applicable professional
software as directed for use by the DOE / HQ Office of Administration. The systems analyst
provides documentation to support tracking and control of the utilization of DOE / HQ personnel,
equipment, facility and supply resources which are required to support television production at
DOE / HQ. The systems analyst provides technical research for the recommendation of new
equipment, software and supplies.
EXPERIENCE :
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or 5 years of
equivalent experience in broadcast, video production and in-house cable broadcast
systems

Cut Pro Studio and Adobe Creative Suite), Illustrator, and InDesign.

video codecs and compression technology, file formats and digital file optimization for
file size, optimization for different screens (e.g., monitor vs. television), and using video
on the web.
