Come join our growing team! We are seeking an experienced high-level, Full-Time Dental Laboratory technician for our on-site laboratory in Lake City, Florida.
Job Description:
- Ensure productivity and quality goals by following standard operation procedures (SOPs), monitoring production, problem-solving issues and employee motivation/engagement.
- An ideal Dental Laboratory Technician will be someone whose expertise results in highly functional, safe, and esthetically pleasing dental prosthesis.
- Perform regular system maintenances are necessary
- Collaboration with prescribing doctor on restorations as needed
- Documenting processes, as well as adhering to industry regulations and safety standards.
- Responsible for building, contouring, and glazing of high-end restorations including abutments, Emax, Zirconia and implant restorations.
- Designing restorations such as crown, bridges, implant crown/abutments, and all on x prosthesis.
Requirements
- Start-to-finish proficiency in ceramics and the ability to produce custom shades with potential tight deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of EXOCAD design and milling. (Preferably Ivcolar PM7)
- Implant manufacturer knowledge and understanding of different platforms and scan bodies.
- Both 3shape™ and exocad™ design experience
- Abutment and tissue design capabilities for ideal restoration outcomes.
Experience/Education Qualifications:
- 3 years of dental laboratory experience required
- Highly Preferred CDT
