What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Alfa Dental Management?
We are a fast- are a fast paced, fee-for-service dental organization who focuses on providing high quality comprehensive dental care to every patient.
We are looking for a facilities technician who has experience in commercial property maintenance to join our team. Our ideal candidate has experience in HVAC repairs, electrical repairs, and the ability to perform a wide range of repair tasks.
What you will do: Our Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for traveling to our various offices throughout North Florida servicing 10 locations. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Keep our dental offices to brand standards by completing interior and exterior repairs
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repairs on dental equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance orders such as painting, basic electrical work, routine plumbing maintenance, replacing locks, etc.
- Build relationships with our dentist, office managers, and all corporate staff
- Perform janitorial services as needed
- Assist with upkeep of safety and cleanliness of all dental offices
- Report to immediate supervisor any safety hazards
What this position requires:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, ladders etc.
- Ability to solve problems with a sense of urgency
- Willingness to work nights and weekends
- Clean Valid Driver's License Required
