Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating an overall project plan and providing oversight and guidance to the Alfa project team and the vendor project team in order to ensure the timely and successful completion of strategic assigned initiatives.

Job Summary
As a Project Manager I, you will play a vital role in participating proactively with executive management and department heads across the organization. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating an overall project plan and providing oversight and guidance to the Alfa project team and the vendor project team in order to ensure the timely and successful completion of strategic assigned initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of projects meeting customer expectations for time, cost, and specifications definitions.
- Deliver solutions that meet the time, budget, quality, and functional expectations of the business using approved tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Responsible for all aspects of the project life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).
- Participate proactively with the corporation, business lines, functional units, and small business units in the development and implementation of strategic plans for business initiatives.
- Four-year degree required.
- PMP certification required or needs to be completed within 6 months of employment with Alfa or Masters in IT Project Management.
- 3 years of experience leading or managing projects or experience in a professional insurance or IT capacity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to sell concepts and ideas to all levels of management within Alfa, and able to discuss sensitive and topical issues with all levels of management.
- Proven track record of successful software development initiatives and be recognized as a leader.
- Proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment.
- Property and Casualty or Life Insurance experience is highly beneficial.
