About The Internship
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn and contribute to various aspects of business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in business processes and a desire to develop skills in a real-world setting.
As Part Of The Team, You Will
- Analyze, specify, design, document, implement improvements for Inventory Management.
- Value Stream Management (VSM).
- Conduct training of users of the process or standard.
- Follow-up the implementation to ensure "fit for purpose" and validate that business objectives were met.
- Lead Proof of Concepts for new processes or standards.
What You Know
This role requires a student pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Other relevant degrees will also be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint).
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week (flexible with class schedule).
- Strong team collaboration and interpersonal communication skills required, to include verbal and written skills.
- Candidate must be adept at taking direction, work well within cross-functional teams, be curious to learn, and be customer focused. Safe work practices, proper ethics, and attention to detail are required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
