About The Job
We offer an interesting job opportunity within our Business Unit for Brazed & Fusion Bonded Heat Exchangers. Your organizational belonging will be Existing Product Development Sweden, and you will be based at our site in Richmond VA USA.
Your main objectives as our R&D Test Technician in Richmond is to build BHE prototypes to customers, evaluation and failure investigations of field failures and locally support BHE manufacturing in Richmond.
You will have local and international contacts.
Key Tasks
You have an education level of secondary school. Knowledge of traditional cutting and grinding machines. You have an ability to read technical drawings and have basic knowledge in measurement technics.
If you have knowledge of the functionality, design, materials and/or construction of brazed plate heat exchangers (BHE) it is of advantage.

Key Tasks
- Manufacture prototypes for internal and external customers.
- Claims investigations; receive units, investigate and find root cause, document the investigation in a written report and cooperate with local claim coordinator.
- Evaluation and failure investigation of production units in continuous production, suggest corrective actions to eliminate/mitigate the problem.
- Support Operations Manufacturing in improvement projects aimed to reduce costs for scrapping and re-brazing
- Maintenance and improvements of equipment in workshop
- Issue and maintain safety instructions in workshop
