What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lidar Scanning Technician position at ALFA Trechs, Inc.?
In this exciting position you will travel nationally to diverse client sites utilizing cuttingedge Lidarbased 3D laser scanning technology to capture and analyze existing field conditions
Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering highquality project data and solutions making a significant impact on our clients success
Work closely with the project manager to ensure the efficient processing of 3D laser scan data providing critical insights to support project deliverables
Conduct daily field data capture and preprocessing of 3D Lidar data ensuring accuracy and completeness
Provide office staff with notes on field data that was acquired
Collaborate with the project manager to tackle complex challenges and develop innovative solutions
Demonstrate integrity and character while successfully reflecting the core values of ALFA related to employee ethics operational excellence safety integrity and corporate social responsibility
Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the mission
Qualifications : Qualifications
2 4 years of laser scanning experience
Experience with 3D laser scanning technology Leica FARO Trimble NavVis
Ability to interpret and understand 2D floor plans effectively
Proficient in technical field skills
Ability to communicate existing field conditions
Strong listening writing and verbal communication skills
Proven work history strong work ethic and plays well with others
