Implement marketing strategy and manage digital assets including website, mobile, social, and email, with the objective of increased positive visibility and awareness among key audiences. Collaborate closely with operational functions across the organization to ensure information is shared accurately and timely.
Essential Functions
- Utilize all available communication options to communicate with active and potential members using engaging and positive language.
- Coordinate marketing efforts to maximize membership and program enrollments.
- Identify, manage, create, and publish high-quality digital content including email, video, story banks, website, and social media.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing & communications team to ensure brand and voice consistency.
- Assist with any Alfond Youth & Community Center special events and programs, especially with regards to capturing compelling photos to use in marketing efforts.
- Maintain brand awareness & compliance with all marketing collateral.
- Represent AYCC at local marketing & outreach events.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Exceptional writing and messaging abilities for a varied audience.
- Strong graphic design & layout talents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including staff, vendors, and patrons.
- Adhere strictly to confidentiality of internal and external customer information.
- Exhibit a positive, professional, and collaborative attitude with all internal and external customers, supervisor, and co-workers.
- An elevated level of detail orientation and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet time sensitive deadlines.
- High sense of urgency to communication matters
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in marketing, communication technology, new media or related field or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Robust knowledge of content development to elevate all forms of media, marketing, and technology.
- In-depth knowledge and effective use of major social media platforms to build community engagement, multi-center ambassadorship, and inclusion.
- Minimum 1 year experience implementing social media strategy, graphic design, or other marketing or communications areas.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and other relevant software.
- Experience with social media management systems preferred.
Salary Description
$17.75 - $19.97 per hour
