We are seeking someone with these same ideals to join our team as an entry level Upholstery Technician. This employee will be working in our foam fabrication department, helping create marine cushions and interiors for high-end yacht manufacturers. Experience/Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in skilled manual labor, such as carpentry, or having completed vocational schooling. PLEASE DESCRIBE YOUR EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU APPLY IF YOUR JOB HISTORY DOES NOT CLEARLY LIST RELATED WORK.
- Ability to use both hand and power tools
- Must demonstrate basic carpentry skills, such as accurately reading a tape measure and ability to cut straight lines
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions correctly
- Competent in basic computer skills (e.g. using Microsoft Outlook, navigating an iPad to take and share photos and use an online schedule software) or the willingness to learn
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and tolerate standing for long periods
- Must be able to bend and reach without difficulty
- Experience in upholstery practices is a plus, but not required as we are willing to train
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Starting Pay:
- $20-$24 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule:
- 7 am start time with 8-10 hr days dependent on production demand**
- Monday through Thursday standard work week
- Overtime may occasionally be necessary to meet deadlines or project demands. If needed, OT is generally scheduled for Fridays to minimize disruption to employees' weekends.
