An Executive Director is needed for Alger Heights Senior Living Community in Grand Rapids. The Executive Director is the leader of our senior living facility and is responsible for executing the strategic plan of the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the community, ensuring that they are operating efficiently and effectively to meet business goals. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our team and manage the daily operations of our senior living facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for senior care, and a proven track record in managing healthcare or senior living communities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services, promoting a positive culture, and achieving financial and operational goals.We strive to make sure our employees know we care about their wellbeing as well as the residents we serve.
We are looking for an experienced executive director with the following qualifications:
- Experience managing a senior living facility
- Working with seniors as a caregiver and passing medications
- Management experience hiring, discipling and training a large staff
- Experience in sales and marketing
- Able to complete a working budget and adhere to it
- Excellent verbal and written communication, able to lead meetings
- Flexible schedule with the ability to cover all shifts
- Thorough knowledge of state regulations
- The ability to multitask and work in stressful situations
The duties will be:
- Certifying residents and staff files are maintained, following state regulations
- Ensures community leaders are working to their full potential
- Coordinate move-ins with all levels of staff
- Review incident reports and follows safety procedures
- Involvement in local community events
- Perform other duties as required by licensing board and corporate office
