About the Job:
- Utilize advanced scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript) skills to create and optimize business rules, client scripts, and server-side scripts to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, customizations, and development work to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Ensuring the security and compliance of ServiceNow instances, including access controls, role management, and auditing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business analysts, to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with business needs.
- Assist in the configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements, including creating custom applications, forms, workflows, and UI enhancements.
- Help bring the corporate-wide CMDB online and foster adoption across the organization.
- Help maintain and improve the service catalog, including creating and updating service offerings, request forms, and associated workflows.
- Build and support company-specific functions and workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years or more of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Have experience related to IT Operations Management (ITOM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Service Mapping.
- Have proven experience with ServiceNow Workspaces, Mobile, and UI Builder.
- Possess a solid understanding of ITIL concepts and principles.
- Are proficient with web development technologies, including JavaScript and HTML/CSS, and REST API.
- Have experience working within Agile methodologies and frameworks – able to meet short/changing deadlines
