What are the responsibilities and job description for the DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY position at Alhambra Hospital Medical Center?
As Pharmacy Director, you will be collaborating with medical, nursing, pharmacy and healthcare team members on the development, maintenance and implementation of drug use policies, protocols and initiatives, drug information services.
Other responsibilities include but not limited to strategic planning for biologics and therapeutic advances; collaborating with medical staff in development of evidence based guidelines; evaluating new drugs for the formulary; development of content for the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee meetings; collaborate with staff on complex therapeutic issues and target drug programs.
Must have previous experience as a Director in an acute care hospital setting. Current and valid Pharmacist license required. Previous management experience required. Knowledgeable on TJC and other governmental survey. Good interpersonal skills.
