We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled Part-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our dedicated therapy team. Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic activities to enhance motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with the therapy team to assess patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Document therapy services and patient progress in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional abilities and independence. Qualifications :
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited program.
- Valid and current state licensure as a COTA.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
