Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event/ Partnership Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing events from conception to completion. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Event/ Partnership Coordinator will also work closely with clients to ensure their vision is realized while adhering to budget constraints and timelines.
Duties
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, venue selection, and entertainment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Develop event marketing strategies to promote events and maximize attendance.
- Manage budgets by tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services.
- Upsell additional services or products that enhance the event experience.
- Collaborate with the hospitality team to ensure seamless service during events.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback for future improvements.
Experience
- Proven experience in event management or coordination within the legal or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of budgeting processes related to event planning.
- Familiarity with event marketing techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and vendors.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in using event management software or tools is a plus.
