We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with precision and care.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining presentation standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and guest preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations.
- Uphold restaurant standards for guest relations and service excellence at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in fine dining.
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on building positive guest relations.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes within the kitchen and dining areas.
