What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mail/File Clerk position at Ali Law Group?
Mail/File Clerk (Anaheim, CA)
8 hours per day, 5 days per week Monday through Friday (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
- Receiving mail
- Opening mail, scanning, labeling documents, uploading to case files
- Printing documents and envelopes for mailing
- Preparing mailing labels
- Delivering documents to Post Office for mailing
- Updating case files in MerusCase, adding parties and contact information
- Taking phone calls from clients, claims adjusters, etc., and taking down and delivering phone messages to legal assistants and attorneys
- Opening new case files and preparing for filing
- Electronic filing of new cases via EAMS and JetFile
- Ordering office supplies
This position requires professionalism and the ability to communicate effectively on the phone. Must be punctual in terms of delivering mail to USPS and accepting, scanning, and uploading mail.

- Outlook
- MerusCase (training provided)
- RingCentral (training provided)
- Spanish Speaker
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
