Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial management, and regulatory compliance. As a Controller, you will play a crucial role in guiding our financial strategy and ensuring adherence to both IFRS and GAAP standards.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with IFRS and GAAP.
- Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and manage cash flow effectively.
- Develop forecasts and budgets to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Implement technical accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
- Utilize accounting software for efficient financial management and reporting.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts, including account reconciliation, cash management, and technical accounting principles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in accounting software applications
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
