Job Overview
Steel Manufacturing facility seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and enhance our quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations,
- Oversee quality control processes, including quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage projects related to quality assurance initiatives, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Analyze data from quality inspections and audits to identify trends, report findings, and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in quality management roles within manufacturing or related industries.
- Experience in the following is a plus: knowledge of, band saws, tube laser, plasma, CNC machines, flat lasers, press brakes, robot elders, manual welders.
Have you ever used any of this software: Solid works, Bystronic plant manager, cadlink, nestlink, SecturaFab, Qbulid
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE or CQM) is a plus but not mandatory.
