Duties
- Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and cakes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Support the front-of-house operations by bussing tables, serving customers, and ensuring an inviting atmosphere.
- Handle food products safely while adhering to proper food handling procedures.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for processing transactions and managing inventory.
- Perform basic math calculations for measuring ingredients and managing inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts is beneficial for managing inventory and sales transactions.
- A strong understanding of sanitation practices within a kitchen environment is essential.
