Food Runner/Expo/Busser

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer experiences.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete and presented beautifully.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise.
• Support bussing duties to clear tables and reset for new guests.
• Adhere to food handling safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Assist with banquet services as needed, ensuring all guest needs are met during events.

Skills

• Proficient in food handling practices and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is preferred.
• Previous experience in culinary or restaurant settings is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Knowledge of food service operations, including banquet setups and bussing techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when necessary.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
