Technical Account Manager (Strategic account)

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will serve as a pivotal customer service interface, dedicated to ensuring the stability and growth of our clients’ cloud-business operations. Your role will involve working closely with the Alibaba Cloud Americas team to prioritize and address customer requests, issues, and feature enhancements promptly.


Standardized Operations:

Cloud Migration

• Assist customers in business migration to the cloud, make good use of the cloud by providing technical services such as application/big data architecture design, database localization, application/big data performance tuning, data governance, and data platform construction, and offer best practices and solutions for cloud products in industry applications.


Cloud Optimization

• Build and optimize system architecture, establish business disaster recovery capabilities, design and implement monitoring systems, and guide regular disaster recovery drills to improve the stability and reliability of cloud-based business, ensuring system performance and response speed under high concurrency;

• Implement intelligent monitoring and early warning to enhance customer business efficiency and user experience.


Technical Expertise

• Provide comprehensive cloud technology support, cost optimization, maturity assessment and consulting, compliance and security reinforcement services through standardized technical operation capabilities to enhance the efficiency and security of customers' cloud business.


Expert Services

•Provide customers with best practices, solution consulting, and services for Alibaba Cloud intelligent products;

•Combine customer cloud usage scenarios to help customers improve cloud product operation and usage skills through tools to assist customers in successfully migrating to cloud.


Requirements:

1. Over 5 years of experience in solution design, architecture design, server-side development, delivery, and operations & maintenance for large-scale internet applications or group enterprises.

2. Possesses a technical background and experience in large-scale application development or operations and maintenance based on cloud products. Able to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, manage simple client projects or complex internal projects independently, meet service delivery SLAs, and achieve high client or business satisfaction.

3. Creates an atmosphere for effective communication, grasps key points in communication, listens effectively, and expresses thoughts clearly. Accurately identifies and categorizes clients and key stakeholders and establishes different response strategies for different client groups.

4. Possesses service management capabilities and strong technical documentation, presentation, and technical training skills.

5. Proficient in professional English communication skills.

6. Familiarity with operations and maintenance management capabilities, able to comprehensively manage and optimize client systems, ensuring stability and efficiency of cloud platforms.

7. Understanding and application experience in one or more technologies in the fields of cloud-native, big data, databases, networking, and middleware.

8. Basic programming development and debugging experience in languages such as Java or Python.


Preferred:

- ACP (Alibaba Cloud Professional Certification) and ACE (Alibaba Cloud Certified Expert – Cloud Architect) certification.

- Systematic and comprehensive capability to design solutions and architecture, able to provide reliable solutions for clients in complex technical environments.
