Carmines began as the vision of Artie Cutler. His goal was to bring a new and exciting concept to Manhattan's restaurant scene; to open a restaurant that would serve every meal in the style of an Italian American wedding feast; abundant portions of home-style antipasto, pastas, seafood, and meat entrees served on extraordinary platters designed for sharing. He wanted the perfect place to casually enjoy friends and family over great food and wine; the way it used to be at Grandma's house.
Your Role With Us :
- Responsible for the overall fiscal health of Carmine's, with a revenue of over 10 million yearly.
- Responsible for the physical plant ensuring the oversight of all maintenance repairs in a timely fashion.
- Develop & implement strategies to achieve revenue & profitability targets.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, cost control (P&Ls) Work with Operations on executing and forecasting.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to health & safety regulations; Enforce and maintain all labor laws and practices; Oversee and ensure that all company systems and policies are maintained.
- Responsible for the development and education of the entire management team (5 managers)
- Upholding company food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff; Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies as well as city & state regulations.
- Direct all hiring and training for the front of house team, Conduct employee evaluations, as necessary.
- Train values and maintain the integrity of the restaurant and operations culture.
- Continuously assess and improve operational efficiency & guest experience.
