Alicat Scientific supports scientific discovery and the development of technology by equipping our customers with advanced flow and pressure instrumentation essential to innovation. We critically impact low-flow processes across the globe, providing high accuracy and fast control for hundreds of gases and liquids.

What you will do -

You will be the voice of customer for product development in the organization. You will analyze customer problems, identify key target markets for the resulting products, and manage product development and “launch life” cycles that aid significant revenue and profit growth for the business.

Responsibilities:

1. Collect information about problems customers are facing with respect to instrumentation in their businesses from our internal teams, as well as customers' engineering teams.
2. Understand what resources we need to develop products to solve the problem.
3. Get buy-in and resources from the board to develop and launch the product.
4. Develop market pricing strategies for the product lines in different geographies based on customer feedback and competitor pricing.
5. Continually-

a. Monitor existing products and devise obsoletion plans around low value SKU’s.

b. Gather market perception around existing product lines and improve them.

c. Be the champion for your product lines internally, ensuring continual success.

Qualifications:

Bachelors in mechanical/electrical/process engineering preferred.

2-5 years of experience as a Product Manager is preferred.
