The Multi-Modality Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, in support and at the direction of the Manager and Director of Diagnostic Imaging, and in collaboration with the Medical Director performs high quality diagnostic imaging with optimal patient care. The Multi-Modality Diagnostic Imaging Technologist works effectively to continually promote and sustain a high preforming, professional, and efficient department while ensuring continuous quality care, patient and staff satisfaction and safety, and optimal patient access.
Perform as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist and a Specialty Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, and not scheduled more than 80% of their work time in either role.

Complete proper patient identification prior to every patient procedure.Adjust equipment for each examination, position and instruct patients, and determine proper voltage, current and desired exposure time for each radiograph using A.L.A.R.A principles.Use immobilization and support devices to obtain precise patient positioning and lessen patient discomfortContinually assess processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Maintains a smooth and orderly flow of patients through the Diagnostic Imaging Department.Equitable participation in the on-call rotation, as applicable.To perform in a Specialty ModalityUtilizes the additional training, knowledge and expertise in the specialty modalities of Mammography, MRI, CT or Ultrasound
