Must be able to work in warm and humid environment (sometimes exceeding 100°F) as well as walk-in coolers and freezers.

Must be able to push/pull tray delivery trucks and food carts.

The position requires the employee to be standing or walking 80% of each day worked.

PART TWO: FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Assists in maintaining a clean and sanitary work area and assists cooks as needed.

- Performs assigned cleaning duties.

Daily duties include: -thoroughly sweep and mop kitchen floors

- Keeps storage areas neat and orderly.
- Stock shelves, rotating and dating inventory.
- Participates on the evening meal and clean up.
- Operates dish machine following the meal.
- Assists co-workers in a variety of duties, i.e. cleaning, food preparation, special functions.
