Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play.
- Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
- Provide individualized care and attention to each child’s needs, including those with disabilities.
- Facilitate group activities that encourage social interaction and teamwork among children.
- Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
- Strong background in daycare or early childhood education.
- Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Experience in caregiving, nannying, or babysitting is highly valued.
- Ability to educate and engage children effectively through various teaching methods.
