In this role, you will guide the development of customer facing software features and outputs that will provide product stickiness for the first seamless sample to answer solution for epitranscriptomic analysis. You will be part of a high functioning team of software engineers, mathematicians and bioinformatics scientists where you'll collaborate with world class researchers on impactful science and directly support customers to maximize the potential of our state-of-the-art technologies. From custom analysis to co-authoring scientific publications, your work will push the boundaries of epigenomics research and empower customers to make breakthrough discoveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers to understand how they use our software outputs. Customize the outputs to fit customer needs and work with engineers to develop optimized data outputs as standard software features.
- Drive continuous software improvements including data visualization, implementation of new secondary and tertiary data analysis tools and data interactivity.
- Conduct custom bioinformatics analyses and design novel methods and algorithms for epigenomics research.
- Collaborate with internal and external researchers to analyze and interpret assay-generated datasets using innovative techniques.
- Work with commercial teams to support customers in developing new methods to unlock the full potential of our technology for scientific breakthroughs.
- Lead and support the preparation of scientific publications in collaboration with customers and partners.
