Job Title: Intermediate Bilingual Teacher

Job Description:

Plan and teach a program of study in accordance with the philosophy and curriculum of AISD. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Establish and communicate clear objectives. Employ appropriate instructional methods and materials. Continually assess students' accomplishments. Diagnose learning disabilities of students. Counsel with colleagues, students and/or parents on a regular basis. Develop reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedures. Assist in implementing policies and rules. Maintain professional competence through in-service education. Supervise students in out-of-classroom activities. Implement classroom modifications for special education/504 students. Other duties as assigned.

Education Level Yrs: Bachelor Degree in any field

Salary: 62,000 per year

Additional Information

License or Certification Appropriate valid Texas Teacher Certification for position or be enrolled in an alternative certification program and have passing, appropriate for position, TExES content scores. Must be able to speak, read and write Spanish fluently.
