As a Data Processing Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of data into our systems. Your role will play a crucial part in maintaining our company's data integrity and overall success. You will work closely with our Operations and Finance teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient data processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of data accurately and efficiently into our systems
- Verify data accuracy and identify and resolve any discrepancies
- Review and analyze data for errors, trends, and inconsistencies
- Communicate with various departments to obtain missing or incomplete information
- Update and maintain electronic and physical records to ensure data integrity
- Generate and distribute reports based on processed data
- Follow company procedures and protocols to maintain confidentiality and protect data
- Continuously improve data entry processes and suggest innovative solutions to streamline processes
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry or related field
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in data entry and typing skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and data programs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
