We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Product Health Solutions to lead product vision, strategy, and execution for Alight’s health benefits administration solutions. This role will work closely with executive leadership, Delivery, Technology, Commercial teams and our clients to define and execute Alight’s strategic product direction. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled collaborator, and results-driven leader who has extensive experience in health and administration-related product leadership, and has a passion for innovation and client success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the health benefits or healthcare industry, with at least 10 years in a senior product leadership role.

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Alight’s health benefits administration solutions, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission.
  • Represent the product portfolio’s value proposition to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting how technology and services integrate to solve complex challenges.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

  • Partner closely with Delivery teams to ensure operational alignment and scalable solutions that meet client needs.
  • Work with Technology teams to integrate innovative technologies into service offerings, leveraging data, automation, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with Commercial teams to develop go-to-market strategies and value-driven messaging.
  • Market Analysis & Innovation :

  • Conduct ongoing market research to understand emerging trends in benefits administration technology and services.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery models with technology-driven efficiencies, differentiation, and improved outcomes.
  • Product Development & Delivery :

  • Oversee the development and deployment of benefits administration solutions, focusing on seamless integration between digital tools and human expertise.
  • Drive prioritization of initiatives that enhance Alight’s technology and service value proposition, and further Alight’s market-leading position in benefits administration.
  • Ensure products and services are launched on time, on budget, and deliver consistent quality and scalability.
  • Team Leadership & Development :

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Promote cross-functional learning opportunities to ensure alignment between product, technology, and service delivery teams.
  • Customer-Centric Focus :

  • Act as a voice for the customer by deeply understanding their challenges and aligning solutions with their goals.
  • Ensure a strong feedback loop between clients and internal teams to continuously improve both technology and service offerings.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • 10 years of product management experience in a related field of health care or benefits administration, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to deliver integrated technology and service solutions that scale effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Skills & Competencies :

  • Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively across organizational stakeholders in multiple functions.
  • Strong background in client & customer-facing roles, including articulating thought leadership and strategic direction to the market.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and an operational mindset for service delivery.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex value propositions to diverse audiences.

    Salary Pay Range

    Minimum : 183,200 USD

    Maximum : 290,700 USD

    Pay Transparency Statement : Alight considers a variety of factors in determining whether to extend an offer of employment and in setting the appropriate compensation level, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s experience, education, certification / credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography.
