Align ENT & Allergy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care within our physician-led ENT and Allergy practice.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering patient care, providing support to ensure efficient and smooth clinic flow.
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and assisting with procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
- Assist with allergy testing, pulmonary function testing, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Administer medications, including allergy shots, as directed by healthcare providers.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of medical equipment and instruments.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and self-care instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical practice or clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic clinical procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
