is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to become a part of our team.
Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License Required
- Medical experience is a major plus.
- Must be highly organized.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in EMR, NextGen or similar EMR requested, but not required.
- Experience in insurance verification & authorization requested, but not required.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with patients in stressful situations.
- Strong leadership, organization, marketing & public relations skills
- Ability to assist in marketing; including social media development, lunch and learns.
- Ability to answer phones & establish professional relationships with patients.
- Meet all standards for end to end business operations with focus on front desk operations,
- Plan, coordinate & confirm patient appointments.
- Supervise patient flow from initiation of new patient to checkout, including time
- Maintain patient records, including but not limited to drivers license, insurance
- Calculate billing amounts at checkout and collect balances if necessary, including copays,
- Maintain patient consent, including surgical or procedural, parental, financial consent
- Ensure adherence to healthcare laws, rules and regulations: maintaining HIPPA
- Oversee & manage all paperwork for patient care, medical compliance and all levels of
- Prepare & arrange information materials for patients.
- Plan, Coordinate & Prepare follow up care protocols for patients via Dr. Barnett medical
- After training & proficiency testing, support Office Manager in surgery
