Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled medical assistant or LPN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Job Description:
- Provide basic patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors.
- Intake, vital signs, scheduling appointments and assisting with daily activities
- Ensure medical equipment and facilities are clean and properly maintained.
Assist in Procedure Room
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, on patients.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed, protecting patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Maintain imaging equipment and keep accurate patient records.
Qualifications
- Proficient in medical administrative support and EHR systems
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in patient care, including vital signs monitoring and intake procedures
- Familiarity with urgent care and dermatology practices is a plus
- Previous hospital experience, particularly in trauma centers or outpatient settings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
