Acupuncturist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our holistic health team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of acupuncture techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering acupuncture treatments to alleviate pain and promote overall wellness.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical history.
• Administer acupuncture treatments using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor patients during treatments and adjust techniques as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding their treatment plans and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in acupuncture and pain management.

Experience

• Certification in acupuncture from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
• Experience in acute pain management and patient care is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and satisfaction.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week
