Summary
This position assists the Quality Systems Department in driving the culture of safety and quality. The successful candidate will maintain and audit customer specifications, and track quality activities on the company server as required by AS9100D.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Complete and correct procedures, as changes to requirements are received.
2. Assist with customer quality audits and answer corrective action requests as assigned.
3. Assist with all scheduled internal/external audits.
4. Perform specification audits and purchase new specs as needed.
5. Perform gap analysis and update quality documents.
6. Assist with customer returns.
7. Work with engineering to manage Catia files.
8. Update and grade special process tests.
9. Review and verify special process logs as applicable.
10. Complete all required training and any additional training required by quality system training.
11. Complete quality projects as assigned.
12. Assist with Environmental & Safety programs.
13. Perform 5s tasks as they are assigned.
14. Assist team with MDI board updates.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED. Preferred experience in quality.
US Citizen or Permanent Resident Status
Language Skills
- Ability to understand and communicate in English
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively
Skills/Knowledge/Behaviors
- Knowledge of Visual Quality
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Visual
- Knowledge of customer specifications
- Ability to comfortably navigate websites
- Ability to qualify for an Exostar account
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft programs, including PDF files
- Knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action
- Knowledge of MTI’s drives and Tool List
- Proficient and comfortable with large organization systems
- Mastery of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to work well with co-workers and be a team player
- Understand and obey safety requirements
- Ability and willingness to attend any necessary training
- Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris
- Able to understand and communicate in English
- Working knowledge of Employee Handbook
