Job Description

Summary :

Operate the Hydromat / CNC machines and their associated secondary operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned :

Read and understand part specific blue prints and dimensions.
Use micrometers, calipers, and all basic gages.
Recognized quality principles as applied to products.
Check parts with optical inspection equipment or equivalent measurement.
Understands procedures and work instructions.
Uses appropriate statistical tools.
Understands proper operation of machine. Can change Hydromat / CNC tools and offsets.
Perform comprehensive machine preventive maintenance routines.

Qualifications :

Education and / or Experience :

Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills :

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
