We are searching for a React software engineer to join our mobile app development team. This is a full-time position with benefits. The position is fully remote. Applicants must live in Wisconsin, Minnesota or Florida and be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer. We are unable to provide sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design and product teams to translate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into new product features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using modern front-end technologies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across different devices and browsers.
- Optimize web applications for performance, speed, and scalability.
- Monitor for errors using various Dev Ops tools. Triage, investigate and fix root causes.
- Perform app maintenance such as updating third-party libraries.

- As we work with healthcare-adjacent data, experience with HIPAA compliance or similar regulatory requirements is essential to maintain our high standards of data privacy and security.
Technical Skills
- You have experience using React Native mobile development to build mobile cross-platform mobile applications.
- You can write clean, high-quality code and are also able to spot — and improve — bad code
- You are familiar with the fundamental concerns affecting mobile software such as single vendor limitations, constrained execution environment, disconnected operation, discrete release cycles, accessibility, privacy, etc.
- You have experience with agile software development processes/practices.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile app development.
- Experience with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript and preprocessors like SASS.
- Experience with databases and APIs preferred but not required.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and CI/CD workflows.
