RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to):
- Provides guidance on corporate security systems policy, process, and programs to staff, vendors, and clients identifying gaps and recommending/implementing corrective actions
- Working closely with IT, will serve as the Security Subject Matter Expert regarding security related networks, systems, hardware, and software
- Working closely with our Director of Security, will oversee the daily operations of Aligned security systems, C-Cure integration into ServiceNow, preventative maintenance and repair
- Responsible for overseeing contract security integrator and project management
- Oversee all Aligned enterprise security systems, equipment, and vendors to include systems support of multiple data centers across the U.S.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients regarding incidents, emerging risks, and other matters that may impact data center operations, employees, vendors, or clients.
- Will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security program and compliance meet all standards and operational needs.
- Monitors customer requests and ensures appropriate and timely response to tickets, incidents, and requests.
- Outline, schedule, and assist in the performance of security and vulnerability assessments working closely with Aligned compliance teams
- Will serve as technical support escalation point for security staff on general workstation hardware and software issues
- Works with Operations leadership to establish and monitor performance metrics to determine security program effectiveness
- Travel approximately 25 percent of the time in order to perform the above responsibilities at the multiple data center locations nationally, on-call availability 24x7
- Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for decisions affecting security at multiple sites within the data center fleet.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of experience as a security systems administrator responsible for security technologies including Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems, Security Operations Centers is a plus. (Experience with C-Cure and Genetec highly preferred)
- Planning, organizational, and high motivational experience
- Project and program implementation and management experience
- Experience presenting in formal and informal settings
- Experience with safety and emergency procedure protocols and regulatory interfaces
- Knowledge in physical security strategies, principles, standards, policies, and procedures
