Accounting Manager

We are pleased to announce that due to growth, we are opening an opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our amazing team in beautiful Sarasota, FL.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department
• Responsible for the monthly close of general ledgers
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
• Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Monitor and maintain internal controls in accordance with SOX regulations
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits
• Integrate and collaborate with accounting and executive team
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
  
  

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience) required, Master's preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field (Multi-location Medical/Dental experience a huge plus!)
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
• Proficiency in general ledger accounting and double-entry bookkeeping
• Experience with Sage or similar accounting software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
