Job Description
The Sr. Financial Strategy Analyst will play a key role in leveraging data to drive decision-making and business evolution. You will work closely with leadership and business units to identify trends and opportunities, create data-driven metrics, and support strategic decision-making. This role will provide customized insights to leaders across the organization, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct complex financial analyses with minimal supervision, supporting a variety of business units, strategic projects, process improvements, and other initiatives across the company.
- Deliver customized reports and present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop and enhance monthly monitoring of key business metrics.
- Utilize data to drive business case scenarios, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and internal benchmarking across the organization.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience analyzing large data sets for corporate strategy projects.
- Strong curiosity and drive for progress, with an ability to move forward even without perfection.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in financial/strategic planning and financial statement analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in technology applications related to financial data, including business intelligence systems and data warehouse tools.
- Resourceful, detail-oriented, and data-driven with a strong analytical mindset.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and business processes, including sales, marketing, accounting, supply chain, and customer service.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to changing scopes, scales, or deadlines.
- High proficiency in presenting insights clearly, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of the organization.
- Experience with advanced Excel functions and using data to make recommendations based on analysis.
