Responsibilities:
- Learn existing billing processes in Rethink Behavioral Health
- Manage initial credentialing processes with new providers
- Maintenance of credentialing requirements
- Support out-of-network and out-of-pocket/private pay clients
- Track status of payments, reconcile payments, and follow up on billing errors and issues
- Research and resolve denied claims
- Assist with patient collection, send patient statements, and follow up
- Assist in preparing weekly reports to management summarizing billing activity (claims submitted, claims denied, remittance received, etc.)
- Manage re-credentialing for all providers
- Assist in preparing weekly reports to management summarizing billing activity (claims submitted, claims denied, remittance received, etc.)
- Currently possess a CPCS, CCA, CPC, and/or CPB or a strong interest in obtaining such certifications during employment
- Familiar with G-Suite products
- Experience managing contracts
- Experience with medical billing and coding in the behavioral health industry is preferred
- Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
- Basic knowledge or interest in the behavioral health industry is preferred
- Experience in managing record-keeping and tracking systems
- Experience with medical claims processing
- Experience with medical credentialing
- Experience working with insurance companies
- Competitive hourly rates ranging from $22 - $28/hour, commensurate with experience
