Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect - C / C# to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong technical background in software development with hands-on experience in C and C#. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions while leveraging agile methodologies and best engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C / C# and related frameworks.
Work with SQL databases and the .NET framework to create efficient and scalable solutions.
Understand and support Front Office trade flow , specifically in equity trading or equity swaps .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product development and implementation.
Maintain and improve existing legacy systems , ensuring their functionality and performance.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
Stay current with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications :
15 years of coding experience in C / C# .
Strong expertise in SQL database structure and the .NET framework .
Deep understanding of Front Office trade flow , particularly equity trading or equity swaps .
Proven ability to work with legacy systems and enhance their efficiency.
Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Willingness to be onsite in New York, NY, for three days a week (no exceptions).
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) .
Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS .
Experience working with Snowflake .
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools .
Understanding of Agile methodologies .
