Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in providing exceptional patient care and support within our chiropractic practice. You will assist with various administrative and clinical tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the office while enhancing the overall patient experience.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly as they arrive and assist with check-in procedures.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.
- Perform insurance verification and assist patients with understanding their benefits.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
- Manage patient compliance and adherance to treatment plans.
- Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is cleaned and ready for use.
- Educate patients about treatment plans and provide instructions for at-home care.
- Collaborate with chiropractors and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology and coding standards during documentation processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office environment.
- Maintain office flow and aid doctors when needed.
Requirements
- 3-5 years previous experience in an office setting or chiropractic office is desired.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as ChiroHD is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and billing/coding is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
