POSITION SUMMARY : The Provider Relations Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Provider Relations Manager in maintaining positive relationships with healthcare providers and ensuring the smooth operation of provider-related activities within Alignment Health Plan with our Contracted Network (PCP, Specialists, Ancillary / Facility). GENERAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO) :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for provider inquiries, requests, and concerns, and provide timely and professional assistance
  • Coordinates with internal teams in a timely manner for resolution of provider issues
  • Assist in the evaluation of provider performance and satisfaction through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and data analysis
  • Support the Provider Relations Manager in maintaining and updating provider information impacting directories, networks, and contracts
  • Work assigned tasks, including but not limited to provider onboarding, call center queues, CRM, portal access requests, timely and accurately
  • Attends and participates in all staff meetings as required
  • All other assigned tasks SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : N / A MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : Minimum Experience :
  • Two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in provider relations / contracting with an HMO or IPA, medical group or institutional provider required Alignment Healthcare
  • Education / Licensure : B.A. / B.S.

OR 2 years relevant experience

  • Competencies :
  • Organized, detail driven and a self-starter.
  • Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
