Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by generating new sales, cultivating relationships with prospective clients, and helping to expand our client base in Salida and beyond. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Actively research and identify potential leads, focusing on local businesses and organizations that could benefit from our sales and marketing services.
- Prospecting: Initiate contact with prospective clients via phone calls, emails, and social media outreach. Qualify leads and schedule meetings or demos for further engagement.
- Sales Presentations: Present our services to potential clients, focusing on how our SEO, digital marketing, lead generation, and social media strategies can help them achieve their business goals.
- Closing Deals: Lead sales negotiations and close deals, ensuring clients understand the full scope and value of our services.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Act as the point of contact for initial inquiries and facilitate smooth handoffs to account managers post-sale.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Track sales progress, pipeline, and performance metrics using the company’s CRM.
- Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends and competitors, using this information to identify new business opportunities and refine the sales strategy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with marketing campaigns and that you have the tools and resources needed to close deals.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in digital marketing, SEO, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies, prospecting, and closing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to present confidently and professionally to business owners and decision-makers.
- Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) to manage leads and track sales activities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a high volume of leads and follow-ups.
- A passion for helping businesses grow and a desire to be part of a fast-growing sales and marketing agency.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for local prospecting and in-person meetings when necessary).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience selling digital marketing services, including SEO, paid search, content marketing, social media, and lead generation.
- Familiarity with B2B sales and working with small to medium-sized businesses.
- Background in consultative selling, where the sales representative acts as a trusted advisor to the client.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $40,000 - $70,000/year (DOE)
- Commission: Competitive commission structure based on monthly sales targets.
