Step into the role of Production Shift Leader at Alinabal, LLC in Milford, CT! Lead with passion in our fast-paced environment where problem-solving and efficiency are key. Under the guidance of the Director of Manufacturing, you will ensure smooth operations and quality production.
What You’ll Do:
- Align safety, quality, and cost objectives with business strategies daily.
- Organize worker-hour estimates to complete job tasks effectively.
- Manage and prioritize multiple ongoing projects.
- Develop and communicate effectively to inspire personnel and meet team objectives.
- Oversee cross-training efforts for workforce safety and operational excellence.
- Coordinate with plant functions to meet delivery timelines.
- Maintain rigorous preventative maintenance schedules on equipment.
- Analyze production data using sophisticated software to identify and tackle problems.
- Drive Lean-Process and waste-reduction strategies.
- Promote a safe, organized workplace through 5S principles.
Your Skills:
- Lean/Six Sigma proficiency preferred.
- Knowledgeable in technical and mechanical product elements.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (written and oral).
- A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational and professional mix.
Physical tasks involve extensive plant floor activities including lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds and exposure to manufacturing conditions.
