Paraprofessional /Classroom Aide Position
Position purpose: To support the classroom teacher in delivering educational programs, managing classroom activities, and providing assistance to students. This role is important to ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher with instructional responsibilities
- Support classroom management and maintain a safe and organized environment
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
- Assist with students’ academic tasks and help clarity instructions
- Monitor student progress and report observations to teacher
- Supervise students during breaks, meal times, and other non-instructional activities
- Ensure student safety and address any disciplinary issues promptly and appropriately
- Provide specific assistance to students with special needs
- Implement IEP plans under the guidance of the teacher and special education staff.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
